    2013 Beresford Limited Release Shiraz

  • “Deep, inky crimson-purple; a dense, rich and powerful full-bodied shiraz, black fruits, licorice and chocolate needing to lose some puppy fat and focus on the job at hand. Lots of potential here, but needs time to grow up. Cellar to 2035.”2016 James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

Reviews

2014 Beresford Estate Blewitt Springs Grenache

  • “Deep, rich red/purple hue. The aroma is strongly oaky – nutty toasty and lightly spicy, showing quite a lot of wood. The palate is full-bodied and well-structured, with grip and depth and density. There is good depth of super-ripe blackberry, anise and spice flavour and a well-structured backbone of tannin. Full-bodied, quite powerful and long. Some cellar age would not go amiss. It’s a bit grippy (and oaky) right now and needs time.”Huonhooke.com
  • “A bold strike of clove and cedar then the perfume of berry fruit, choc-cherry and some herbal savoury notes chime in. A wall of flavour stains the palate, then receeds into cedary spice. It’s a bold wine of good balance and ready appeal.”Mike Bennie, WBM March/April 2016
  • "Deep and rugged. Unusual in the varietal context. Blackberry, dry licorice, ironstone, undergrowth and malt. Its weighty flavours creep slowly and deliberately through the palate. Along the way, more than a little gravitas is established. Cellar to 2024."2017 James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

2013 Beresford Estate Blewitt Springs Cabernet Sauvignon

  • “Matured for 14-16 months in new and used French and American oak. Deeply coloured, this is a lusciously hedonistic wine with that X-factor Blewitt Springs (with its cooler climate) unfailingly delivers given responsible viticulture. This wine grows each time it is retasted. Cellar to 2038.”2016 James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

2013 Beresford Estate Blewitt Springs Shiraz

  • “Matured for 14-16 months in new and used French and American oak. Deep, bright crimson; this has a lot going for it, the bouquet good, the medium-bodied palate better still; it is supple and very well balanced, with perfectly ripened blackberry fruit and supporting tannins. Cellar to 2033”2016 James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

2014 Beresford Classic McLaren Vale Shiraz

  • “Firm and brooding with black berried fruit stuffed into every corner. If you’re looking for a substantial red then this would be a top choice. It tastes of blackberry, cloves, redcurrant and musk, the latter character evident in the floral note to the nose too. Terrific Value. Cellar to 2034.”James Halliday Wine Companion Magazine June/July 2016
  • “Earthy bouquet with lovey blackberry and aniseed elements which follow through to the supple, fresh, blackberry palate. An elegant classic style of Shiraz.”Winestate Magazine, September/October 2016
